No Intervention/ Objection Received by the CRTC on Meridian Multimedia's Application to Operate a 24hrs. National General Interest Third-language TV Channel
May 16 2007, Special Report: Meridian Multimedia was informed today that their application is a non-appearing item on the agenda of the 28 May 2007 Public Hearing in Gatineau, Quebec. Therefore, their representative is not required to appear to make an oral presentation.
As per the media lawyers of Meridian Multimedia, generally those items are considered non appearing that are free from any complication and smooth processing is anticpated. In Meridian's case, the license could be granted by the end of July, possibly sooner, the lawyers projected.
